When it comes to Christmas and living on the road, trying to find practical but fun presents for travelling kids can be fairly tricky at times. We have been living in our caravan for 4 years now so we have had a few Christmas’s and Birthdays while being on the road. We have decided to share our list of some of our favourite present ideas for kids on the road, all things our boys love and use themselves. Hopefully it helps with a few ideas.
You seriously cant go wrong with some great kid friendly card games. There are so many options to choose from.
Lego is our number one go to toy that keeps our kids entertained for hours. Perfect for those rainy days.
This goes with the Lego as a perfect way to keep it all in one spot. Lay it on the floor and then just simply pick it all back up again. Its been a life saver for us.

These are an essential item when around a campfire.
This amazing sand brick tool has completely changed our days at the beach. The boys absolutely love making Sandcastles with this tool.

If you are not able to take bikes on holidays then Scooters might be a good option. Our boys love racing around on their scooters.
This is designed for those kids that are not confident at snorkelling yet but still want to experience the magic that is discovered under the water.
Australia is home to some of the most amazing Snorkelling in the world. Our kids love to explore with their own Snorkel set.
This is for the kids to record all their favourite memories of the adventures they have. Something they will be able to look back on in years to come.

A good set of UHF radio’s is a handy thing for the kids to use. To be able to communicate with them when they are at the playground or out riding their bike is a real winner.
When going on long walks my boys love to be able to carry their own water. It saves the parents carrying all the water and getting it out every 10 minutes 😂
Our boys live in these shoes when we are our exploring near the water. A good quality pair makes all the difference.

Painting rocks and leaving them all over the country is so much fun. These pens are amazing with fantastic colours.

These are used by our boys all the time. When we are camping or night fishing it is handy to just have the torch strapped to their head.
We have found that the boys also enjoy playing with these glow sticks. They are from BCF and come in different colours. It makes it easy to tell the kids apart in the dark.
