Edge of the Beach!

This place is nestled between towering cliffs and sits on a long sandy beach. Its located about 100kms south of Adelaide on the Fleurieu Peninsula. The water here is just stunning and you get to camp right on the edge of the beach. You couldn’t ask for a better position to camp.

There is no power or water but there are toilets and showers available. At one end of the beach is a Jetty that is popular with fishing and snorkelling. At the other end is a large cave that you can climb and explore. Our boys loved these caves. Almost every day we spotted Dolphins swimming in the bay which was a highlight.

The cost is around $6.00 per adult a night and kids over the age of 8 are $4.00 a night. It gets very popular in summer especially on weekends due to its close proximity to the city so best to get in early if possible.
