Byfield National Park

Located north of Yeppoon is this wonderful park. It is again sand driving and also some small water crossings. The main attraction is the first hill climb as you hit the sand. You will definitely need a run up to get to the top of this hill. It has large ruts and very soft sand. Always best to do this this one with another car as you can easily get stuck trying to get up the hill. Once over the hill it’s an easy drive all the way to the popular Five Rocks.
